​​​I moved to Terry, Montana in 1955, graduating from Terry High School in 1965.  I joined the Navy for the next four years and did two tours to Vietnam.  For the next five years, I attended the University of Montana majoring in Wildlife Biology and Range Management.  After college, I went to work for the Soil Conservation Service, which later became the Natural Resources Conservation Service and remained there working for 28 years.  When I retired, we returned to Terry to assist with my parents’ health and welfare.  

I have served on the Hospital Board (of Trustees) for the past 14 years.
